Bethlehem & Berlin 2011

This year WREN will again be operating outdoor marketplaces in two locations - our popular Saturday market in Bethlehem from 10 am - 2 pm and a Thursday evening market in Berlin from 3 pm - 6 pm. Vendors and WREN members who register to participate in one market will automatically be able to take part in the other at no extra cost.

WREN is excited to be able to offer this great, two-town opportunity to our members. There are no other markets within 30 miles of Berlin and, vendors who participated in both markets developed a strong following. The Berlin Market brought a needed burst of lively economic energy to the downtown environment that is ready to see some fresh action.

To ensure the success of this new venture in a new location, WREN has partnered with BIDPA (Berlin Industrial Development and Parks Authority), a Commission of the City of Berlin committed to supporting Berlin's economy and downtown merchants. We are grateful to BIDPA for their support of the 2011 Local Works Berlin Farmers Market.

The mission of the Local Works Farmers' Market is to provide local farmers, growers, artisans and crafters a venue where they can come together to offer a variety of high quality, fresh produce and hand crafted products directly to area residents and visitors, in a easily accessible area and comfortable atmosphere that provides a pleasant shopping experience and fosters a sense of community and social awareness.
