The Northern Forest Heritage Park of Berlin invites you to participate in the Cultural/Heritage Festival!
On Saturday, June 5th, NFHP will celebrate the various cultures and heritages of the Androscoggin Valley at the Northern Forest Heritage Park in Berlin, New Hampshire. Gates will open to the general public at 11:00 AM and the festival will close at 4:30 PM. In the late 1800s and early 1900 several specific nationalities came to the Androscoggin Valley to work, live and develop businesses. The countries whose culture and heritage are traditionally celebrated at this festival include Canada, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway and Russia. This year the Cultural/Heritage Festival Committee decided to include Native American culture as well.
As part of this celebration, NFHP will feature various arts, foods and crafts with roots to the cultures and heritages of the region. Do you have a favorite craft that reflects the culture and heritage of your ancestors? The Cultural/Heritage Committee is looking for and openly inviting artisans and craftspeople to participate as vendors during the Festival. All artisans and craftspeople are equally welcomed! There is a 10% vendor fee with a maximum of $25.00 for one space, approximately 10 x 10, with one vehicle.
